It hurts. Not the worst she's ever felt, no, but then she has a bit more than her fair share of experience in the realm of pain. She can certainly endure it, but that doesn't lessen the reality of the fact that it hurts.

She winces as the stretch happens, the push and the pain. It's a little reminiscent of being stabbed; there's a sharpness to it. She grips his shoulders, laying her forehead into the curve of his neck, her breath heavy and fast.

"It's fine. It'll pass." Her voice is strained, but she knows that he must be as tense as she is. She didn't want to stop. They'll just have to start again. Might as well get it through with since they've already begun.
